Aishwarya Rai (born 1 November 1973, Mangalore, India) is an Indian film actress. In the 1994 Miss India contest, she won second place, behind Sushmita Sen, and was crowned Miss India World. She went on to win the Miss World title the same year. Aishwarya started modeling at a young age. She posed in several different ad campaigns for Longines, L'Oreal, Cola, Nakshatra, Lux, Fuji Film, Pepsi, Palmolive, Rupa Cosmetics, Eye Bank Association of India, Lakme, Colgate, etc.

Aishwarya is 170 cm in height , weight is 55 kg.

Rai is married to actor Abhishek Bachchan, they met in 1997. Aishwarya gave birth to a baby girl (Aaradhya) on 16 November 2011.
